“Very adequate for our needs”

“The house was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and it was comfortable. Our only vaguely negative is maybe label the switches, but we also had fun playing the "which light does this go to" game so it really wasn't an issue. The hosts were extremely prompt with replies and were very helpful. I would definitely stay for a longer period if the opportunity arose.”

“This home was booked many months ago for a surprise birthday party for my mother in law! The kids came in from NC and IL. this home perfectly accommodated all of us! We rode down the river in tubes from the dollar store and Walmart! We cooked every day! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and the grill is so nice! We chipped golf balls, sang karaoke, played basketball, threw football, played in the river, and enjoy nights under the twinkle lights on the back porch area. This……

“We had to split our party into using two units. Units C and D were what we rented. We were a bit disappointed in Unit C. There are no curtains on the windows and the blinds are not good enough to block out the morning light. The electrical outlets in the bathroom were not up to code and the beds in Unit C were extremely squeaky. The two condos overall served our family, and the price is right. The landlord was immediate when we had a problem. And the condos are close to a grocery store and not……

“We splashed around in a heated pool. We relaxed in the jacuzzi. We had some competitive basketball and volleyball games. We enjoyed the spacious deck, and made smores in the fire pit. Everything we could want to do outdoors. Indoors is a little more basic. There are small maintenance details a little on the shoddier side, like a shower head that wouldn't work and a few issues trying to figure out the thermostats (2). But nothing egregious. Overall it was great time and we enjoyed ourselves. ”

“With two small children, we decided to take a different kind of vacation built around activities that everyone could enjoy. This house was absolutely perfect for our trip. There are plenty of good sized bedrooms so everyone could be comfortable - each with their own bathroom.. entire house is very kid friendly - with a soft sectional arrangement in the living room with ottoman - perfect for our 1 year old granddaughter learning to walk. Location is excellent. Close to zoo and Meijer Gardens.……

“We had a fantastic week on Murray Lake. Our hosts, Kim and Jim, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the lake was accessible to our family. The house was well furnished and had everything necessary, including supplies for s’mores, lots of beach towels and a wagon to help us take things to and from the house and lake. We can not thank them enough for an awesome vacation.”

“Cabin was clean and neat and as expected. We enjoyed our stay very much. We would stay here again for sure. Minor issues: Coffee maker didn't work TV - Couldn't get any channels to come in. No Biggie sitting around the camp fire was much better. Bedding-Sheets were very cheap and was an issue. But they told us that before arrival so next time we will bring our own sheets. These are all minor items. We met the owner very nice and professional. Overall great experience and I recommend the cabin.”
