“We stayed over a long weekend and very much enjoyed the place and our stay. The property is spacious, pleasant, fully equipped and super clean. Location is excellent for outdoor activities. Nice and responsive hosts. We hope to stay at this place again!”

“The property is very nice. It's apparent a lot of upgrades have been made and more to come. Heck, there's even tissues throughout the house which you don't find many places. The only pick I have is that steps leading down to the house were barely cleared of snow/ice and very difficult and dangerous to negotiate with suitcases. I shoveled them myself the next day.”

“We had a great time. The house is quiet, but located right by multiple restaurants and attractions in Thomas. It's less than a 15 minute drive to Blackwater Falls and the Dolly Soda are about a half hour away. Great for resting, relaxing, and getting out in nature!”

“About a mile to Blackwater Falls and about the same to town. Very close to the gas station and a pizza place. The unit has everything you need, but if there’s anything you forgot, you aren’t far from the grocery store and a Dollar General! Great communication with the owner and her local person. Might be cozy for more than 2 people, but it was a nice place to stay.”

“This was our second stay, and we loved it just as much the second time!”

“My wife and I stayed for our anniversary weekend. The property is great. It is small, but it suited us well for our purposes. The view of the small lake and mountainside was wonderful. We woke up one morning to the snow-covered ground and the moon reflecting off the frozen lake—it was beautiful. The property manager was very responsive when we had an issue with there being too much chlorine in the hot tub—they had the issue fixed the same day I raised the issue with them. When we checked……

“Cons: With service fees etc, cost over $1000 per night between Christmas and New Years. Driveway is very long and downhill to the house. Kitchen drawers and some cabinets were extremely overfilled and cluttered. Downstairs bathroom was clean but smelled bad, emanated to whole downstairs. Things like carpet, kitchen pans, some light fixtures were worn / wonky. Pros Hand, dish, and laundry soap included; paper towels, toilet paper too. Plenty of extra towels available. Fireplace was nice and……

“Had a great stay at Jared's place. He was a great host, the place was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near both Timberline and Canaan. One thing to note - cell phone coverage may be iffy depending on carrier. Suggest making note of check-in code before you leave home. Jared's wifi is great for streaming or if you need to hop on a meeting while you're there. ”

“Fantastic stay! Clean, well-stocked, convenient quiet location not far from town of Davis with a beautiful view from the deck. Easy booking, check in and out was a breeze - awesome communication with owner. Tons of hiking and fun things to do and see in the area. Highly recommend!”
