“This was an awesome, and unique place. Beautiful woodwork, amazing windows and features. But it is 130 years old and things are definitely unique. We loved it. Never quite figured out the shower (n the Miracle room) but that’s alright. The staff was great. Matt, the bartender/waiter, was the highlight. Funny, yet professional. Talented. We would like to return. What an experience. We were there for a show downtown. Next time we will stay for dinner. ”

“Great place for snowboarding trip in the winter. Not just a summer VRBO. Hot tub and pool table were a huge hit! after boarding all day! Owner was very responsive and made our stay great. ”

“Fell in love with the place summer of 2023. Return was disappointing. I was amazed how quickly it fell into disrepair. Paint chipping. Heat wouldn't get above 58. Fireplace not working. Cracked windows taped up. Kitchen trash drawer fell apart with a gentle pull. Dishwasher not emptied. Smoke detectors dead or missing (fire code). Dead bugs. Basement: water stains, black mold in closets and main room. Floods during dishwasher cycle. Part of rotted ceiling was cut out, so clearly owner is aware.……

“Wasn’t in the house much- just stayed here while skiing at bittersweet. But description of the property is right on and communication was fast. Only issue is the bunk room doesn’t get very warm in the middle of winter. ”

“We did a winter stay due to family events occurring in January. Because the grandkids are from the south, they never get to experience snow or a frozen lake. It was beautiful views for them to enjoy out of the windows and seeing ice fisherman was a real treat for everyone.There were plenty of beds for everyone and we had no issues with having an infant. The house is a little older but no strange smells or any functional issues and the kitchen was well-stocked. Although we stayed in the winter,……
