Owner is great with communication even if there were six hours difference between us because she also was on a trip, but made sure to stay up to make sure I got there, and everything was good. And all that could be seen sitting in the couch! The kitchen was equipped with literally everything I would use at my home and then some! Karen was an absolute wonderful hostess providing many extras for us to use as needed or wanted! The ease of checking in and checking out was as easy as I have ever done! “This property was perfect for our family. It is rare to find more than one king-sized bed in a Highland rental, and this one had 3 in the main house and one in the apartment. Since we had four couples plus kids, that was perfect. There was also plenty of dining space for our group of 13. The kitchen and house were equipped with everything we needed, and the younger kids enjoyed the downstairs den. We had a great time making S’mores in the outdoor fireplace! “We stayed here with a group of teenagers for our daughter’s birthday celebration. The property was beautiful, the farm animals were fun to watch. We enjoyed the privacy so the kids could talk on the porches, and we loved the fact that the loft was full of beds, so nobody had to feel left out. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of tools and some spices. Plenty to do nearby, quick access to grocery stores and great hiking/swimming. We would stay again! ”
