“We visited Blue Hill and Acadia with two families. We needed a place that was suitable for six kids and four adults. This place was far better than we could have even imagined. It was a clean and historical property that has been thoughtfully renovated. The grassy area in the front is perfect for yard games and relaxation. The owners were extremely thoughtful and considerate. They even prepared a fire and welcomed us with s'mores supplies and other local treats. We will be returning! ”

The farmhouse was perfect, the instructions with check-in were spot on, and the house is idiotic.I had dinner at Fern and Finn and came back and settled into the house with my book and a glass of wine. “This house is in the perfect location- easy access to water/ hiking / midcoast towns next door to a delish maine market and coffee roaster… the house itself is a charming old farm house that has all the basic stuff. If you are looking for high end - this isn’t your place. For us, we loved the comfy, lived in beach house vibe. My kids (8 and 5 ) loved all the games provided. The property has a rambling lawn down to the sea. The beach is rocky but you can walk along it- or drive - to a nice swim……
