“We travelled to Sidmouth on the Sunday and arrived early. Reception advised that the room would be ready quite soon so we had a coffee and relaxed. The room was excellent with a walk in shower. The food was very good and we had dinner at the hotel on 2 nights. The only problem was it was quite a trek to our room but staff kindly transported our bags. Would recommend the Royal Glen for a seaside break as it close to amenities yet in a quiet location.”

“Kersbrook hotel is a beautiful thatched roof hotel in Lyme Regis within walking distance of the town and the famous Cobb. The full English breakfasts were amazing and the staff were wonderful! The hotel had special significance since I used to live next door in the 1960’s. My only complaint, and this is true of all English country hotels, is that the shower was difficult to to use. But what made the stay so good was the personalised attention we received from the owners.
