“We really enjoyed our stay at the Legacy Rose and Crown. The hotel staff at the front desk were really pleasant and helpful. Dinner was delicious with a lovely view of the river at sunset. “We have just returned from stopping here and I'll have to say we've had a wonderul stay. The room is very well kept very clean it is absolutely beautiful. The host's are so friendly and helpful and really made us feel at home. We had a delicious breakfast included in the price. The location is ideal for exploring salisbury and the beautiful cathedral and only a short drive away is Stonehenge. We would definitely recommend a room in the garden as a pefect place to stay. ”

“Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“This a small working farm with I believe 3 rooms at for the bed and breakfast. The building was build in 1740. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we even had a private bath. The owner was absolutely amazing, she was friendly accommodating gave us many suggestions to place to se in the area. My wife said she would come back to England just to stay here. “Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely.”

“Cute cottage, not for anyone mobility challenged. Very hot bedroom, didn't sleep much because of that (need lighter weight duvets), shame as otherwise lovely room & very quiet. Lovely to eat supper overlooking the field of sheep and lambs. Food was average. Pub chairs could be more comfy. Breakfast rather small (a full english was one mushroom, 1 small sausage, 1/2 tomato, scrambled egg & 2 very crispy bits of bacon. Had to request toast.
