“We loved this hotel! Came for our honeymoon and it exceeded our expectations! Great hospitality, atmosphere, clean rooms, safe and secure, and overall easy to move around from the city!”

“The hotel is clean and modern and the staff are all very helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice available. Our room was cleaned every day, the beds were comfortable and there was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, also a complimentary bottle of wine, and fresh water in the room every day. The bar off the reception area didn’t seem well used but the view from the top floor was great. The pool is small, and the wind pretty strong up there. The hotel is within easy walking……

“l'hôtel est à 800 m de hauteur ce qui amène une bonne température, avec une très belle vue sur la côte sud et sur le cirque de Serrado. dans la chambre les toilettes étaient pleine de calcaire avec cercle jaune, le bidet fuyait et la chambre n'était pas lavée tous les jours, autrement la chambre étaient bien située avec une belle terrasse et une vue sur le cirque de Serrado. La piscine était froide, en cette saison où il ne faisait pas une grosse chaleur. Par contre la masseuse kyné était……

“Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”

“Rundum zufrieden, Essen war hervorragend, immer für jeden was zu finden, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, Zimmer sehr groß, für jedes Kind (11 und 13) ein eigenes Bett, nicht nur ein Schlafsofa für beide. Pool und Meer direkt am Hotel. Alles sehr zu empfehlen. Familie mit 2 Kindern in den Osterferien. ”

“Property was beautiful and clean. The staff and food were wonderful. Had a great free breakfast each morning. The beds we extremely hard, but provided plenty of linen options to try and assist. Location was beautiful. Had a great day just explorijg Porto Moniz, then explored the Coast - each town was only a 20ish minute drive to the next, then an hour back. Enjoyed having this as our first exploring location.”

“Chambre correcte mais un seul oreiller par personne, une couverture (et non une couette, attention pour les allergiques) et un lit pour 2 de petite taille, grande et belle sdb, vue bouchée par une haie devant le parking, isolation ok sauf si voisins bruyants comme les nôtres :-( Parties communes très élégantes de même que l’espace spa. Attention pas de places de parking pour tout le monde au sein de l’établissement malgré 2 parkings. Petit déjeuner ok mais sans plus.”

I dislike separate beds in a couples room Tough toilet paper No shampoo conditioner supplied, only a kind of soap 1 small chocolate bar in the room, for 2.5 euros, not fun or enough Receptionist quite unkind, makes no effort to be kind or friendly ”
