“This is not the Ritz Carlton, but it doesn’t have to be. Super staff, beautiful location on the edge of delightful little bay. Views to die for, pool, better than average breakfast. The furnishings are older, but not worn, and the place is very clean. Great value for money.”

“The house was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and full of character, an ideal place to relax after a day exploring Madeira. The location is great, peaceful, near fantastic hiking trails and viewpoints. Waking up and drinking a coffee on the patio was heaven. Everything was well taken care of, thanks to André, a fantastic host organizing everything with attention to detail. “Prachtig Resort, zeer goed ontbijtbuffet, mooie locatie, wel een beetje lastig op en neer, maar dit is over het hele eiland zo. Dicht bij luchthaven (10 min met taxi).”

“Near airport , few shop and restaurant. lobby have free wifi and if you reg the member,you can get the free a bottle of madeira wine,a bottle of water and fruit.No air-con and fan in room ,but we feel cold as the wind.Beautiful view .You can take bus to Funchal,around 15min and cost around 2Euro/way”

“Wonderfull hotel with amazing garden. Nice staff. Clean. Very good breakfast. We were not that impressed with the dinners we had on the hotel, we prefered the other restaruants just outside the hotel instead. Be prepared for many stairs and some steep pathways, as the rest of the island. ”
