“Great place for the money, very secluded and unique ”

“We had a fabulous stay at Sentrim Mara. Some of the other reviews did concern me before booking but I found this place to be good value for money. Also, the lodge was so spacious! The staff are wonderful, Geoffrey was friendly and attentive at the restaurant, chef Nicholas was helpful with my lactose intolerance and there were many other wonderful staff too. For my birthday the staff bought me a cake while doing native Maasai singing and dancing, it was a very memorable experience. Thank you……

“Amazing safari camp! We loved every second of our stay. Special location with access to Maasai Mara but located on conservancy with elephants and giraffes surrounding area. Maasai guards escort you to camp always felt safe and cared for. The staff is amazing. Many are Maasai and are passionate about sharing their culture and knowledge with you. “This hotel is a very old.I can understand it had its history since 1965. I respect the history but It is obvious that they had never renovate or make improvement to their rooms! The maintenance inside the room is very bad (e.g. paints falls out and cracks, spider webs all over corners).Mosquitos' corpse sticked on the nets in the toilets and windows which are disgusting! “Very nice people made you feel at home”

“Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. The staff all of them, were so friendly and helpful from the front staff to the night guards. Camp on a river, so you see the animals come for water, open view to see them roaming across the river!
