“I cannot say enough good things about Elephant Pepper Camp! I stayed for 4 nights with my wife on an 18 day honeymoon, and out of all the places we stayed, including 5-star hotels in Cairo, Nairobi, Dubai, and the Maldives, we had the best service and the best food of all at Elephant Pepper. We were picked up directly from the Mara North Airstrip and immediately began our safari adventure with a game drive. Each morning we were woken up, given coffee/tea/sweets around the fire, and went on……

“Mara Major Camp is the perfect place to stay for an authentic Kenyan safari experience. The lodge staff are local Maasai that truly make the place special. We were the only guests at the camp because we stayed at the beginning of the rainy/off season and they were so attentive to us, taking care of all our needs. The food is great and the chef works hard to present you wonderful meals. He also catered to our weird food needs. One of the Maasai took us on game drives around Maasai Mara Reserve……

“Their dining is superb, unlike any safari oriented place I've ever stayed, which is over 30 times. Their menu is extensive, and I mean first-class. You order one hour before because it takes time to create great food in the wilds of Masai Mara.. Simply amazing. I would go back just for the food. Their overall service is excellent and the lodging/tents are fine. Maybe a little more lighting would made the women happier (my wife). “Massively impacted by rain floods which made main road leading to and fro the lodge near to impossible to navigate on or over. Rivulets and erosion break offs. Staff dedicated and committed, food varied and 3-meal buffet style offered plenty of choices. Accommodation naturally rustic and 'hut-like' as one would expect and seek out on a Safari tour.
