“Beautiful place, cozy cabins, really enjoyed our trip. Maybe some new mattresses, it was a little uncomfortable. Ate at restaurant, supposed to be St. Patrick's Day party. Staff was completely overwhelmed. Well over an hour to get wings and a pizza. Garlic parm wings were really good! Pizza just ok. Party was not happening, so some customers who appeared to be regulars got karaoke started. Overall, we had a great time! Definitely interested in coming back forva friends trip. Probably will……

“Gorgeous view of WV mountains! Great hot tub, game and dvd selection! Everything you need in and more in the kitchen! Don’t be alarmed by the natural gas smell. We were unfamiliar with how natural gas smelled when we first arrived, but Dustin was prompt to explain. Wonderful stay if you want to disconnect from the busy-ness of life!”

“We enjoyed this cabin very much. Secluded and away from the traffic and noise of life is what we were looking for and definitely found it in this cozy, beautiful cabin. Hopefully it stays this way and we will definitely be back many times in the future. Very clean, warm, and loved the kitchen was stocked. I did forget a couple spices but found some in the cabinet. That was a nice surprise. Loved there were robes available also. Beautiful scenic views. We are already talking about reserving……

“My family booked the cabin for a short, 3-day rest and each day was so full. Packed with coffee in the hot tub, listening to the creek, short or long (depending on mood) walks up the stream while my husband and son fished for native trout. Enjoying meals on the grill, a roaring fire in the pit just outside and movie nights outside on the covered porch with our bodies telling when to sleep and wake. A true gem at the end of the road where life slows to let you savor! Blessed to have visited……

“We had the most incredible time staying at this beautiful remote cabin with our family. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the peaceful surroundings and the natural beauty that envelops the property. A charming creek runs through the land, providing the perfect soundtrack for morning coffee and evening conversations on the porch.Each night, deer would wander into the backyard, and feeding them became a magical experience that our kids absolutely loved. “We had an amazing time here. We went to the wildlife center and the asylum around the area and enjoyed a relaxing evening. Perfect ppace for a little getaway especially if you like the rural area to escape from people. ”

“The cabin is beautiful and everything a group of girls need for a little momcation! The cabin was very clean. The hot tub is nice but a little small for our group we couldn't all get in at the same time. We loved the outdoor fireplace! I would suggest arriving in the daytime it is on a mountain and hard to see at night. Would definitely recommend!in the ”

“The location alone is spectacular, particularly in mid-fall, though the boats are absolutely right that it's a cell phone wasteland. Fortunately the house WiFi can handle all but the most intense gaming loads (bandwidth is great but satellite-level pings) and has plenty of TVs board games, and other pastimes for those seeking a digital detox. The hosts were great with communication, offering to help when needed but also perfectly willing to keep a distance when we wanted to embrace the……

“The Deerling is the best place and most fun I’ve ever had. Owner was great and super friendly, place was clean, plenty of room, quiet and relaxing. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.”

The stream also was nice to listen to as I fell asleep each night! The price was super reasonable as well.”
