“Absolutely fabulous - great location, fabulous bedrooms kitchen and everything you could want ”

“This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane……

“This beautiful unique house is in a wonderful country setting. I had my morning coffee on the gazebo while a horse watched me. The area restaurants were very good and either walkable or a short drive. We also enjoyed water activities on the nearby lake.”

“Beautiful property with every detail well thought out. Very modernized and loved AC in every room (even main living/kitchen area). Grounds well kept, kitchen fully stocked, even a dishwasher! We stayed for a few days and did LaFortuna activities with rental car. Didn't mind 20 minute commute to LaFortuna. Felt safe, friendly neighbors & dogs as we drove by, but this place is tucked back completely private from surrounding neighbors.”

“Ken and Juan were outgoing hosts eager to make our stay great. The artisan home is welcoming. The grounds are beautiful. We appreciated the use of the laundry. We absolutely loved El Despacio cafe down the street. We played games and enjoyed the view as the chef made meals for each of us so good we returned the next night and all ordered the same dishes. ”

“While the monkeys seemed overwhelming at first, they were fun to watch and not a problem. We loved the layout and the spacious rooms. We could find solitude while still enjoying family gathering space. Its location provides quick access to numerous activities from the Cloud Forest , to a waterfall hike, to zip lining, to breakfast at the bottom of the driveway, to coffee options to town. There are a lot of steps! ”

The location made you feel like you were in the jungle, and we had some bird wildlife sightings from the porch, but is actually very close to the main area of town and all the main activities in the area. Daniela was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend. ”
