“The room was wonderful, with a queen bed, microwave, fridge, Main St view, and large bathroom. Beautifully appointed room and common areas. Staff were nice, but they didn't give the warm and fuzzies or even present a business approach, so there are opportunities for improvement there, especially considering the cost, the attached restaurant, and the hotel's reputation. The free breakfast left a lot to be desired (a make-your-own wafflemaker, dry cereal x 2 kinds, coffee, bottled juice/milk,……

“We stayed here for my son’s graduation weekend from Emory & Henry. It’s a bit of a ways to campus, but that worked fine for us. The place is beautifully appointed, incredibly comfy mattresses, and an amazing location with the sound of the river flowing all around. The gravel driveway is a bit rustic by most peoples standards, I think, but I grew up on a farm and this one was much better maintained than that.
