“The house a perfect weekend getaway home. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Perfect location to the coal mine museum and mine tour and the town of Jim Thorpe. The only negative thing was the main bedroom mattress was very hard and uncomfortable but overall a great stay. ”

“It was lovely and peaceful. It wasn't a high class, high tech rental but it had high quality appliances and amenities. The price was cheap and the house fit what we wanted perfectly for a 3 day getaway. Cute, quiet, peaceful, and cozy. It was cold, probably under 30 the entire stay. We enjoyed the hot tub many times. We will definitely return this summer to enjoy the pool and pond. ”

“Nice updated property. Very clean. Needed paper towels in kitchen and bathrooms. Great communication with host, all questions were quickly answered. Could not lock the back door from the outside using the keypad. This door was unlocked when we arrived and the back screen door does not clear the awning above it and scrapes it every time the door is opened.Outside of these incidents, the overall experience was good.”

“Like an upscale “She Shed” this place offers quaint accommodations in the township of Reading near a public school with charm. Lots of amenities thought of for such compact sq footage. Was a challenge to move 2 people in the bathroom and my husband ran the shower too long so I didn’t get hot water so be sure and be frugal if two are sharing the water tank but that was my husband’s fault. Nice coffee and tea available. Bed was comfy and linens were soft. The Google TV was a challenge for us……

“Tru and Adriana couldn’t have been any nicer. The home has such a great history and the location and the property are fantastic. We enjoyed getting a tour of the horses that are rescued and hearing their stories. Our grandchildren really enjoyed their pony rides. We had a wonderful stay and would book again! Thanks so much! ”

“We needed a large house with a central location for our family weekend with life-long friends from Denmark. The house and beautiful property were perfect! The grounds, the stream, the pickleball court, as well as the spacious house allowed us to spread out, as well as enjoy time and meals together. ”

“We stayed with a very large group of 21 adults and kids. The property was spacious and comfortable. We stayed during the winter, but I’m sure in spring and summertime with the lake. This property would be adorable. The only recommendation I would make is to upgrade their beds and mattresses which are kind of old and uncomfortable.”

“The property was immaculately clean and very comfortable. Hosts provided many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcomed! The location was absolutely perfect and the view was gorgeous. The village and home made us feel worlds away, almost like staying in a fairy tale. We really enjoyed the restaurant across the street and found it to be very reasonably priced.
