“A very nice, quiet motel in Hart Michigan. Call on your way in to receive your door key code. There is no need to visit the front desk. Nice, well kept interior furnishings and bedding. Outdoor seating, picnic table a lovely quiet fire pit with all the free wood you need for a restful evening. Stop at Hansens grocery on the road in from Hart for the best deli meats and beer and wine in Michigan. Highly recommend motel”

“The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake. “Gorgeous skies, surf, and sand; and an unobstructed 180 degree view of horizon. Didn't use the hot tub on the deck but saw that it was maintained. Could have happily stayed a month. Cherry Point market was fabulous and close--recommend the strudels. at Otto natural area. And od course ”
