“Absolutely Great stay. The host was outstanding and responded to us very quickly with all our questions. The history and the view are outstanding. We went fishing and walked on the Forge all the way across right at our front door. One of the best places I ever stayed. Must visit Downtown Shepherdtown and Hapers Ferry. Sooo much history . Also must eat at Rock Hill Creamery absolutely the best ice cream Ive ever had.”

“We were lucky to find this perfectly located place! Very clean, well-stocked with coffee in the nice kitchen, good bed. If it had reading lamps by the bed and the sofa, and more hooks/rods in the bathroom for towels, it would have been perfection. I would stay there again.”

“The whole experience from making the reservation till checkout was great!The host gets back to you so quickly with any questions we had. The house was beautiful, well equipped and very clean. There was a coffee pot and a Keurig with coffee provided. The deck looking over the river was a wonderful spot to gather, beautiful view of the river. Beautiful wooded property overlooking the river, no river access. We all said we should have stayed longer!”
