“The house has a lot of character, is very unique, quirky and eccentric. It was a little too old fashioned/crammed for our taste, but our children loved it and thought it was magical! We knew what to expect from the photos – so not complaining ;) Check-in was easy. The biggest advantage of the house is the wonderful direct lakeside location, the view, the sunsets. The beach is a little rough but you have it to yourself, the water is clean and very clear on calm days. We enjoyed the garden,……

“This cabin-like cottage is lovely. The cottage is steps away from the lake - the sounds of crashing waves is very soothing. There are train tracks near the neighborhood and the trains provide a nice soundtrack when you can hear them and were not disruptive (I think the grandkids would have loved to watch trains roll along the trestle actually).
