“When me and my companion arrived Ohara bus station, we informed the minshuku and the staff arrived quickly and picked us up. He was very nice and explained to us what we could do around the small town. It was the season of firefly sighting so we decided to explore the town at night, he noticed that me and my companion was wearing short sleeves and quickly told us to wear a jacket to protect us from insect bites, he even lend us a torch as it was quite dark on the streets. “A spectacular Ryokan experience in a quiet residential area. The open air bath was amazing. Very comfortable accommodations. Be warned however, there are very steep chairs and the upstairs beds are all very low to the ground or directly on the ground. We would not recommend for elderly or people with mobility issues. ”

“環境非常清幽寧靜，但又與大原的主要景點很相近。晚餐及早餐食物水準及服務都是一流。房間、澡堂及溫泉環境也很整潔。很值得一試的溫泉旅館。唯獨溫泉的空間相對小，每次只能容納4人。但由於本身房間數目不多，所以也不會出現要排隊等候泡溫泉的情況。”

“The rooms were magnificent. Along with that the staff here was an absolute delight. Welcoming us when we returned and seeing us out the door just as if we were their children leaving for the day. A wonderful Japanese experience. 10 minute walk to tram station and multiple bus stops that will get you anywhere. 6 minute walk to a shopping street littered with people shops, and food alike. ”
