“Amazing stay. Great food prepared by owners. The onsen is amazing and even famous locally which they can come use. The bus stop for ski park is 30 secs away. Old town is 10-15 mins walk away.”
“What a delightful place to stay! Cannot praise the staff enough! They were all so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Some English speaking staff, who were honestly the best we met in our two week stay in Japan. We were told that they don’t get many English-speaking visitors and we were the only ones there, which my teen son and I loved. We love immersing in the Japanese experience when visiting, and this hotel definitely offered this.

“High Accessibility
The hotel is near the Yodanaka Station, it takes 5-10mins walk. If you will drive over there, the hotel will provide the free parking. Also, they were so nice to clean up the snow every morning.
Also, it may take 15-20mins walk to the Shibu Onsen.
For skiing, it can take 30mins driving to Shiga Kogen. It takes 45mins driving to Nozawa Onsen Snow Resort.
Hotel provided a delicious meal and kids friendly. They provided a different set for the kid.

“I came to shiga kogen for skiing. The hotel location is excellent. You can have either 3 mins driving to Yokoteyama ski area or 5 mins driving to central area.
Other than the location, all staff are very polite, patient and helpful. Some of the staff are able to communicate in English and Cantonese fluently.
They have sufficient parking space compared to other hotels in shiga kogen. If you look for some living experience in a traditional Japanese hospitality, this is the one. Make sure your……
