“The house was perfect for our stay with myself, my husband, our baby and toddler, and our dog. The location is a quick drive to most things, and super close to Deep Creek State Park where we did some hiking. The house was nothing fancy, but comfortable and met all of our needs. The communication with Vacasa, though, was subpar. There was a boat randomly parked at the dock starting on day 2 of our weeklong stay. After it was there for a full day I messaged asking if it was supposed to be there……

“The house was very convenient & comfortable, and we enjoyed it as a base for our get-together. I only have some minor quibbles. For example, there was some conflicting information about firewood and towels in the info provided (both were provided at the house). Also, the area around the hot tub was a bit dirty but we just we just grabbed a broom and cleaned it up. Other than those very minor things, we very much enjoyed our stay.”

Very family oriented yet still well decorated and the amenities inside were perfect - a pool table , games - 2 fireplaces - one a wood burning stove - furniture was comfortable! “Overall very nice stay with great amenities! One member of my group got there early, we asked for him to be allowed in early, they said yes but unforunately he could not get into the house. There was no cell service at the house so he couldn’t reach out to anyone. That sucked, but everything else was awesome”

“Beautiful craftsman home with completely updated appliances and everything we needed for a family getaway- we had 5 adults and two kids. Kelly was gracious and flexible with check in/out times and super responsive. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near the Potomac Eagle railroad ”

“The house we stayed in was more than satisfying, we loved every bit of it. My children enjoyed making s’mores with the fire pit. Everything was in close by the zip lane, bumper cars, golf, Walmart etc. The best part of out trip was Swallow Falls State Park where we enjoy our nature walk to the waterfall and it was so relaxing. We will most definitely be back to rent again”
