“Loved every minute of our stay. The views in every direction were amazing. Was a great home base for going to Yosemite. So peaceful and relaxing to return to in the afternoons. The whirlpool tub was wonderful. We also enjoyed how close it was to Mariposa, with many great restaurants. Kitchen was well-equipped. Beds comfy. Our host was very responsive and helpful.”

“Amazing home. Would 100% recommend to friends and family. It took almost exactly one hour to reach Yosemite Valley but we left the house by 5am every day. The line entering the park can get to be an hour wait at times. Charles has amazing communication with the guests and has great advice for gas and groceries as well as things to see in the park. You will not be disappointed ”

“The retreat was very nice spacious and very well equipped for our stay. It took us about 1 1/4 to get to Yosemite valley and 1hour to Mariposa grove. The house was a little more remotely located than we expected. However we did enjoy the town of Mariposa 15 min away. Nice dining options and a good grocery. ”

“Very nice place off of the beaten path. It is very clean and well kept. Deer and turkeys in the yard. We would stay again.”

“Out of the 2 bathroom, one did not have any hot water for the shower. We called Friday night and was told maintenance went home at 5 . Contacted them again TWICE on Sat. No one called or came by until 4:30 pm. I was told the faucet handle needed to be replaced but stores were closed. Our checkout was the next morning. So nothing could be done for us. And so the 6 of us took turns sharing one shower in the master bath for all 3 days. Furniture & appliances were dated. Over-the-stove exhaust……

“Our family of 11 from 3 to 70 had a great time! The house was great for us and Megan was very responsive! Easy access to the house and the lake/beach was wonderful! Kids loved the pool table/play room, but didn’t want to sleep downstairs by themselves so if you’re planning to have young kids in the one bedroom downstairs they may not want to be there by themselves. All other bedrooms are upstairs (worked out for us, just an FYI). Kitchen has everything you need! One of the best equipped kitchens……

“Finding it was a little challenging, but directions were good. Sweet place, comfy very clean and everything worked. We all were happy with the stay - but just too short! ”

“Our multi generational family stayed here for two nights. The home was clean, spacious, had comfortable beds. It had a well equipped kitchen, which included great coffee and spices and plenty of pots and pans. Our 3 year old loved the toys in the 2 playrooms / bedrooms and our teenager enjoyed playing pool. We went swimming in the heated community pool and played golf!! We would definitely stay here again!”
