“We only stayed 2 nights. Would have liked to stay longer. The cottage is clean and comfortable amidst beautiful trees and flowers. Nice view of the water. It would be ideal for a single traveler or couple to stay longer and read a book or just enjoy the peacefulness of the place. Downtown Langley and the Clinton ferry are nearby. The Chocolate Flower Farm is across the street and worth a visit if you like chocolate, fresh eggs and animals. We are at several good restaurants nearby: The Prima……

“Loved the views. Very quiet even with ferry departing and arriving every 1/2 hour. Loved walking the beach with my mom and toasting smores in the beach firepit. Only 4 steps to door, perfect for my disabled mother. Would totally stay here again.”

“Great getaway, two kids and two adults. Cozy cabin in the woods! It is very close to another cabin, which luckily for us was unoccupied, but does detract a bit from the isolation we were seeking- and may have been a bummer if there were folks so nearby- but the woods were wet and lush and bursting w spring and the creek ran high and loud! We loved it,and was just what we needed! ”

“The property is wonderful. The views are great and it is nice to be so close to the river. The landscaping is also really pretty. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you could need. Though the house itself is a little run down, it is very comfortable and inviting. The biggest issue we had was that the water sometimes came out in only a little more than a trickle, making it harder to wash dishes, shower, etc. It did always work though, so as long as you have some patience for that……

“The cabin was clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed the little extras, like candles next to the bathtub and copies of hiking trails that were close by. This cabin is so close to the water that we felt we were on a boat when the tide was in. And when the tide was out, there was a little beach to explore. We saw plenty of birds and seals, but no orcas on this trip.It should be noted that there are rustic stairs down to this cabin. I'm two months out from a knee surgery, so found them a little……

“We had an enjoyable time at Bowman’s Beach Cottage. The neighborhood was very pleasant, we enjoyed our morning coffee while sitting on the beach, and the view of the river and mountains was beautiful!”

“The location was perfect as our daughter lives in the neighborhood and it was an easy commute to their place. The Blue Saucer on the corner of Roosevelt and 92nd is a great little coffee shop”

“Our stay here was wonderful. The place is older, but as other reviewers have stated, well kept and clean. Accommodations are cozy, the view is beautiful, and the neighborhood was quiet.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Kitchen supplies are a little spartan but still handy. There is a full-size stove, microwave, Coffee machine, toaster, 3-4 small to medium skillets, a saucepan, strainer, cutting boards, one mixing and one serving bowl, basic cooking utensils, and dishes/cutlery for two. (My list of supplies might not be comprehensive). There is also a Brita water pitcher but I think it has not been used in a while because there was mildew growing on the bottom……
