“We absolutely loved our stay...just one negative...the beds were very uncomfortable. When sitting on them, it sounded like they were going to break. We could feel the springs in our back and we sank to the middle. Rolling over was very loud. The mattresses need to be replaced quickly. We were there for a Select Softball Tournament for my daughter. She has mild scoliosis but usually has no problems with hotel stays. Her back and sides were hurting after sleeping on these beds. “We went down to Aggieland for our daughter's ring day and booked this great cabin for family. The location was good and the land was beautiful - we even got to visit with some cows each morning. This was much better than staying in a hotel...We will be back! :)”

“If you’re looking for a quick and easy getaway for a weekend, this should be your retreat! We arrived late Friday night and were greeted to lights on, easy access to enter the property and a very comfortable bed! Awakening Saturday morning and it was lovely having coffee on the porch watching deer. Saturday evening a group of red tailed hawks put on an amazing aerial display over head! Magical!”

“Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. Will definitely be making a returning booking.”

“Gorgeous property”

“This place was incredible! We stayed there for only one night but wish we had booked it for more! The outdoor shower, hot tub, snack basket, breakfast, and everything else was amazing. The owners have an eye for detail. The lights were on with music when we arrived. We enjoyed everything they had to offer including our morning coffee on the back porch with chickens roaming around. We even saw multiple deer the night before. I highly recommend this romantic getaway place!”

“We are only 2 hours away from Rockin Star, but this was just far enough to get out of the city & enjoy the quiet & slower pace of the hill country. We enjoyed the pool each evening & it was very relaxing. Darrell Sr & Jr were super friendly & helpful with the ins & outs of the property, and Darrell Sr showed us around the property. We were just there for a weekend getaway, but it’s a great place for a family reunion or wedding. ”
