Unfortunately I experienced a flat tire whilst there (a really old tire went pop) and the host was so kind - he sorted me out with a replacement tyre to keep me on the road for my meetings. “When we arrived we were welcomed by our hostess and taken round to the shepherd hut. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The bed was high standard and we slept well. Breakfast was goid and included a vegetarian option. It was brought to our door and was still very warm. Wevloved hearing the birds singing and even saw a woodpecker in the hedge opposite. The large rooms have been divided into a number of cosy well appointed rooms Check in was self service and very well organised Ordering breakfast was via a well designed form Lisa and Phil are lovely and we met them at breakfast! “We are so pleased to have discovered this little gem. From arrival at this charming village pub, the staff (and locals) were friendly and helpful, happy to give local info (restaurants, buses etc). We were shown our room which was one of 4 terraced bungalows, purpose built at the bottom of the pub garden so away from the pub, secluded with shrubbery and hedge and quiet. Perfectly adequately sized for 2 people, furniture of good quality. A lovely comfy super king size bed with crisp cotton……
