“The house is cozy & comfortable. Our group of 6 adults & 2 children felt right at home. It is clean & well stocked with kitchen & bathroom items. The barn was a nice surprise - everyone enjoyed games of ping pong, cornhole, & basketball! The owner was attentive & responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed nearby attractions & restaurants. A wonderful week!”

“The property we rented was as advertised - 3 bedrooms and a 10-minute drive from Colby College, where we attended our college reunion. The house was older but had modern appliances, 2 bathrooms, a washer and dryer. The home is on a farm with horses and a mule on the premises, which we enjoyed. The owner lives in an addition attached to the home. She was most engaging and attentive to our questions and needs. We walked down to the river and enjoyed nature! The historic Bowman House (1762) and the Pownalborough Court House (1761) are near by and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. “My 24 year old son and I stayed here for 2 nights to visit family in the area . Our final destination was Cutler Coast for hiking/camping so we were not looking to to do Maine tourist attractions. Hannah’s place is very special in a wonderful way. The farmhouse is preserved in history while having every modern essential.
