“Right on the harbor in charming Mousehole, we had a front row seat on Cornish life--people swimming, kids jumping off the harbor wall, and walking on the SW Coastal Path. Cooked breakfast was excellent and hearty, and there were a variety of god restaurants in Mousehole and nearby Newlyn. Our room was quiet and well appointed with a spacious bathroom. The room could get warm so the fan was appreciated. One night we parked in the car park closest (about 200 meters, 5BP for 24 hours) and one night……

“This was our second year here, due to the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the room, the quality of the food and the location. You can do as much or as little as you like using this as a base. We just love the ambience of the whole area. We did trips by car, train, boat, bus as well as feet. Would visit again. “The unique thing about the Halfway House Inn is that it is truly dog friendly, no rip off £15 - 20 a night charge that we got at all the other hotels/pubs we stayed in on our 18 days away. We were made to feel welcome with our dog and not treated like 2nd class citizens”
