“Fantastic stay. Great location - easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes, a winery and some rainforest walks. Owner was very friendly and we were lucky enough that they could accommodate an early check in for us. Highly recommend the Blue Wren cottage. It was at the back of the property with a private verandah and the cottage had everything we needed.”

“Great quiet place to stay. Very spacious. Lovely walk nearby. Richard was very helpful. Maybe a repeater for the wifi as it was hard to connect sometimes as it would be a great quiet place to work. Would definitely stay again. ”

“The Bush Retreat is in an ideal location to explore the Gold Coat, Surfers Paradise, Tambourine Mountain with biking tracks in the Hinze Dam area. The accommodation is spacious and well equipped for 4 people with ample parking. Beds are comfortable. Water pressure is good with ample hot water. It’s an ideal place to kick back and relax with a bottle of wine in a lovely tropical garden setting with a lot of bird life. We had a lovely time here and the place has huge potential. Recommend.”
