“Wife and I came for a wedding and stayed here after for a few days in Vermont. The Essex Resort was a great home base for our travel, it felt so peaceful and the staff was beyond friendly. We felt taken care of during a time we wanted rest. We ate at Lazy Goat Tavern, walked the resort, and enjoyed the hot tub in our room (not all rooms have this).”

“This is a very unique hotel. The bathroom is 2 rooms, which is a little odd, and the whole configuration is different, not bad, just different. Had a lot of road construction in the area, which affected our walkability, but we managed. The bed was comfortable.”
