“This was a very cozy cottage. The owners had literally everything you could need. I had forgotten my razor and there was one provided. The kitchen was well stocked, even though we never cooked. Overall a very positive experience. This is right next to the owner’s house so you will see them tending their garden and letting their dogs out, so I could see some may wish for something a little more private. However, they were never intrusive and pretty much left us alone. The location was……

“Such a lovely pioneer home. I loved the stay. The beds were very comfortable. The home made it a very nostalgic visit for us. ”

We were excited to come and stay in the Loft-style house long before arriving, and were pleasantly surprised by how open and airy the interior was when we first walked in. The photos do not do this property justice! The views are stunning, and the interior is well appointed with modern decor that create a clean, cozy vibe. You can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into their rental home. We greatly appreciated it and will be back! ”

“Home was big. Definitely fit our needs. Had a minor issue when we arrived but was quickly addressed with the owner. He was quick to reply and was very kind. We really enjoyed our stay. We will stay here again when in the area. ”

“This is a older home with old charm, but modern comfort. Our son graduated from the U, and my wife and I, plus his brother and a few cousins stayed here. Our son, daughter and their significant others hung out with us in evenings. The location is excellent and the home was set up nice. Plenty of space in a nice open living area, and a porch for outdoor hang out. The upstairs master suite allowed us to sleep (in a very comfortable bed) while the kids were up late playing board games. ……

“The apartment was exactly as described. Very clean with everything we needed for the weekend. The only issue we had was with the thermostat. We are hot sleepers, and the thermostat would not stay where we dropped it to overnight. We woke up multiple times during the night because we were hot and had to lower the thermostat, so I can only assume the owners were overriding us. Knocked off 1 star for this reason.”

Great on the inside, a bit "dormitory" looking on

"We drove by The grand American and thought it was our hotel so we got a little disappointed coz the hotel is a few cottages on the outside, not particularly appealing. But the lobby is grand and the room is spacious, as shown in the photos. We love the double sinks. "
