“Room was clean and spacious! The bar manager(don’t know her name) was absolutely fantastic was very informative and helpful!! A great place to stay if you’re using Bristol airport. The food here was really great especially the breakfast! Thank you for a great stay. Will definitely return and will be recommending!”

“Although only booked for one night, but I had a very good experience.The staff are very helpful, the location is convenience that is close to town and just next to Cathedral. I love the fact that the hotel is a historical building and preserved so well from the inside and outside. Highly recommend to stay there while you visit Stonehenge, Old Sarum & Saisbury Cathedral.”

“Our second stay at The Wellington. A lovely gastro pub with B&B. Pub is lovely with great food. Room was large and light and airy with very comfortable bed and lovely furnishings. Bathroom is beautiful with a great shower, lovely towels and Elemis toiletries, even conditioner and body lotion. Tea and coffee facilities and water provided. Lovely choice for breakfast and cooked beautifully (eggs royale for me, full english for him) Staff lovely and friendly. Helped us out with taxi and very……

“Very clean and very friendly staff. Rooms were decently sized, and we had very little disturbance and noise. Beds were comfy and clean. We paid extra for breakfast which was decent and worth the money (a hot breakfast which is brought to your table and cereal, pastries and hot drinks that you can get yourself). Great location for the quay and old town, with shops, restaurants, pubs and many boat trips nearby. If we were to return to the area we would come back here. ”

“Friendly reception, stunning location, left a bag of room clean items outside my door as I was do not disturb. Small things go along way. Only suggestion Citronella candles for the garden the wasps are very annoying...”

“A great spot for easy access to Bath, Bristol and the delightful village of Cheddar and the gorge. Staff were so helpful and friendly and the food they prepared was plentiful and tasty. We can recommend a meal in the gorgeous train carriage attached to the bar - a lovely experience. ”

“The 5-night stay was overall comfortable, although there was an issue with controlling the temperature of the hot water shower. It would occasionally become scalding during showers. It would also be wonderful if breakfast could include some fruit. Other than these minor points, it was a delightful stay. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the reception gentleman kindly helped my daughter and me carry our luggage to the room on the 2nd floor.”
