“Beautiful patio area with live music and GORGEOUS flowers everywhere! Love the vintage vibe here and the delicious food in the hotel restaurant.”

“The Lafayette is a very nice older hotel. It's in great condition, and the room's are quite comfortable. Bathroom was a bit narrow, but nice high ceilings. Great old world decor that we really enjoyed. Breakfast at the Gunroom was also good and quite reasonable. Only complaint is that our room faced Front Street; we stayed on a Friday night, and there was a bar across the street that was quite noisy well into the night. If we stay again, will ask for a room facing the river.”

“Was a good stay other then ask for non smoking room and it smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom also had a smell to it also”

“Desk chair did not adjust up or down and was too low to use effectively at the desk. WiFi was very spotty. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting which made working very frustrating.”

“We stay here ever year before Memorial day weekend . We like the proximity of restaurants to walk to and the staff is always friendly. One thing i think could change would be the breakfast buffet. It is very small with not many food choices. ”
