“We stayed in Mae-Mae's Room at the Steele Cottage and it was great for our needs. Well appointed, conveniently located and easily accessible, yet removed from the core downtown area for privacy. The breakfast service at the Duff Green Mansion B&B was good for a first morning, but the 3+ block walk is not directly toward the main part of downtown and the river. I suggest equipping the Steele Cottage with bottled waters and snack items in each room for optimal convenience.”

“This was one of the best places I've ever vacationed at: the location was convenient, the hosts were so incredibly thoughtful and kind, and the place itself makes me feel so at ease and at home. The hosts are the absolute pinnacle of hospitality and made me feel so welcomed. Even the smallest details were thought of (like mints on the bed and a bottle of wine in the fridge for guests!)If you want to experience a truly welcoming, relaxing, and peaceful stay, you have to visit!!!”

“We stayed in the Carriage House, which despite being very old did have modern facilities. The air conditioning and shower were very good. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It was good to have the option to stream films on the TV. We were sent an email from our host with instructions to access the property and park which also gave good recommendations to local restaurants and attractions.”

“Perfect getaway! Such a great location and beautiful home. Loved the view of the river. The sunsets were so pretty. The walking trail sidewalk is so nice and safe even at night. We enjoyed walking on the scenic trail to eat. We would definitely stay again! ”
