“Right on the sound side, with two piers, one for fishing and one to use to launch a kayak or two. We stayed a wonderful week between two hurricanes (Gorden and Helene). The house fit us well as we had three mobility impaired folks. With the wooden ramp to the first floor plus two roll-in showers on the first floor along with two bedrooms it was ideal. Only two minor issues, one of the 5 toilets was out of order and required a part and many of the dishes, pots and pans were not well cleaned……

“We enjoyed being close to REAL Water Sports and the Salvo Day Use area - for some kiting and canoeing. The bedroom is small but the bathroom is large. Lee also has an outdoor shower, which is nice after coming home wet and sandy. The "kitchenette" is really just a mini-fridge, microwave, and single cup Keurig in the closet - adequate for a morning cup and to store your beer or leftovers, but don't plan to make yourself breakfast here. “We had a wonderful time. It is a beautiful house, nice set up, a good place to relax. Many puzzles, just a few board games. Only one trash bags, no hand soap, or basic food items in the kitchen like salt, pepper, oil sugar etc., but that might be because of the pandemic, which is understandable. If you like coffee, you would need round coffee filters :-)”
