“I wasn't expecting too much from a B&B in Scarborough, but wow, The Waves really turned that around. A courtesy call from James prior to arival was a nice touch and he was there to greet us on arrival and sort the parking pass for the locality. We found it was always easy to park practically outside the B&B. On entering The Waves there was a lovely fragrance and everywhere looked clean and had a modern boutique feel. “It is on the quiet North Beach but surprisingly close to South Beach and Peasholm Park. There are bakeries and food shops nearby. I enjoyed the sea/castle view from my window, cooked breakfast which was nicely served and overall convenience. Noise-wise, a lot depends on other guests staying.”

“Great location, easy to walk to north beach but also, town centre and south beach are close enough to walk to. For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting too much but this guesthouse has everything you might need and more for a few days away, it’s very clean and the rooms are spacious and well organised. The staff was super nice and my double bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept on! I would definitely go back!”
