“Tryly a nostalgic gem of a cabin; hard to find these days. Wood floors, cedar walls--- that distinctive scent when you walk in. Has a cute front porch with rocking chairs too. Beds were very comfortable. Host had a few snacks as a welcome gift.”

“Loved my stay. It was peaceful, relaxing & beautiful. The cottage had everything you could need. The location was great. Loved the dark nights & nature sounds. ”

“Excellent place for a couple of nights. Small, but efficient. Don't forget your towels and bedsheets! And it's not a place that you can heat easily.”

“We had a great time! The property fit all our needs for a winter ski trip. We have the Epic ski pass and were looking for a location to get us to some mountains that accept this pass. Mount Sunapee was a quick 15 minutes from the property and Crotched Mountain was 45 minutes. We enjoyed skiing at both! When we were not skiing, the cottage was a warm place to relax as a family. It had all the amenities we needed. We would consider visiting again in the summer to check out the lake!”

“The cottage was as described and shown in the listing. On our first day we had issues with heat (both hot water and heating) but John was more than accommodating and had us shifted to another cottage immediately and he in fact bought us lunch for the inconvenience (thank you John!). Our second day of stay was perfect without issues. They have a private beach with boats which you can use. I would recommend booking with them directly.”

“Immaculate property. Everything was organized and seemed to be brand new. Very cozy cabin in a great location. I was impressed that after 6”of overnight snow, the driveway had already been plowed by the time we woke up in the am. My 2 teenager boys have already asked if we can come back next year. ”

“This cottage was above and beyond our expectations. It was clean as a hotel, and had so many wonderful little touches that made it feel like it was set up just for us. The location is near so many great restaurants, great skiing, hiking trails, not to mention the gorgeous lake right in front of you. Elkins is a small peaceful town that feels so relaxing. It was perfect!”
