“Lovely cottage but not where Expedia show it in the town centre. Longden common is nice and the red lion pub just down the road is a good place to eat. Stairs a very steep so something to be aware of not mentioned in details about the rental. ”

“Loved our stay at here, staff were very welcoming and helpful and patient with our young Vizsla dog. Ideal set up for staying with a dog, with rooms located opposite site of the car park to the cosy pub. Food was excellent. Definitely would come and stay here again. ”

“Great one night stay. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. I also loved the breakfast hamper in the room - the hotel doesn’t do a formal breakfast, however a very good hamper is provided in your room with granola, dried fruit mix, cornflakes, croissants and apples. There’s also tea/coffee, and milk and yogurt in the fridge. I thought this was a great idea and it was all included in the cost of the room. I would definitely stay there again. ”

“Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. “A little remote, but in a nice environment. Nice and cosy, and run by a old couple. The only drawback for an overall top marks is because of the shower, although it is newly installed, it is difficult to operate and the water pressure is somewhat too low to have a nice shower. The worst part is the wall inside the shower cubicle is dirty but consider the old couple are working hard to run the hotel and also the nice letters restaurants, so it is not a complaint, just would like to point it……
