“Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants.”

“If you are looking for a place to detach this is it for sure. The cabin was great and the personal infinity pool was fantastic (but not heated) and the view was amazing. Some downsides were the bathroom being completely outside making nighttime urinations interesting. Not much hot water so use sparingly and not enough for us to fill the tub. No TVs but there is a projector with Netflix which was a nice touch but the volume wasn’t great and even at full volume we still needed the closed……

“Lovely hotel, beautiful beach, excellent restaurant on site. Excellent room, but no elevators. Staff is nice as are all the people of this lovely, rural island. I would have appreciated more assistance with activities, rather than an invite to hear about how to buy a condo there. Cons: No reliable public transportation suitable for tourism. If you don’t drive (you must drive on the left) or rent a car you must take a taxi, which is very expensive. Off property, there are no sidewalks other……
