“Great hotel, staff very pleasant and helpful throughout. Room good size, large comfortable bed, bathroom with shower and bath. Ample toiletries supplied. “Due to a family bereavement in Jersey I had to stay at The Somerville for close to 3 weeks. The hotel was lovely, some history to it, great location overlooking St Aubin's Bay and only a short distance to the pubs and restaurants. Staff were fantastic, very sympathetic in view of my reason for staying there, very professional and nothing was a problem to help. Car park right outside hotel and always a lovely welcome from all the staff when one returned. Highly recommend. Thankyou Somerville. ……

“The reception staff were exceptional. Teta and Lauraine stood out as they both went beyond and about to ensure we had the best from our stay. They are a true credit to the hotel. Bogdan was a super chap and was our waiter in the evening. Again a truly valuable member of the hotel staff. The only negative thing was the attitude of the maitre d' at night. Otherwise could not be faulted. A fabulous place to stay. Thank you.”

“Overall our stay was excellent, the only downside was the fire Alarm at approximately 0230 Thursday morning. The process seemed to be carried out properly, bearing in mind it was pitch dark and a lot of people were sleepy and a disoriented. I would certainly recommend this Hotel to others.”
