“House was wonderful and great access to the lake!”

“Planned for my Birthday and it was amazing! Very quiet and serial. Beautiful view of the lake. The cabin itself was very clean but the decks could have been a bit cleaner, full of spider nests on the windows and chairs. All in all still worthy of a definite 5 star. Was very enjoyable!”

“We were there on Business and made this trip into a Business/vacation. Relaxing by the river doing some fishing. We did not want to leave. Prefect for all occasions.”

Quick and easy 5 minute drive to Hickory Lake Park to walk my dog and ride my bike on the off-road trails. 20 minute drive to Bakers Park and Riverbend Park for more trail walking. House was pleasantly cooled with a/c, ceiling fans above the bed, and the mattress comfortable provided for a great nights sleep. ”

“Very clean and relaxing. Area was safe and quiet. The house had everything that is needed and we enjoyed our stay.”

“Our stay at Mallard Cottage was lovely. The lake was quiet, which made for such a relaxing stay. We were able to launch our kayaks, and paddle boards so easily. The kids could launch the kayaks on their own. The cottage looked just like the pictures in the listing. We had everything we needed, and more. The hosts we so kind, and quick to respond. We will definitely be back!”

“This rental was just as described. It was very cute clean and cozy. The couple hosting the rental were very friendly and we enjoyed visiting the farm. Kevin, Hamlet and the dogs were fantastic. We came to town for a fundraiser and for the NASCAR race. We certainly could have stayed closer to Concord but this was a lovely place to stay and really not too far away. The setting made it well worth the few extra miles to drive to the race and other events near Concord. We look forward to our……

“Our family had a great time at the Heron's Cove Cottage, this was our second visit. The house is perfect for our family of 6, clean and has a beautiful view of the Sandbar. The Sandbar Marina and Grill is close by and the house is close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommend. ”
