“A great stopover location for our first night in Crete. We arrived too late to collect our hire car so wanted a hotel near the airport to make it easy to return the next morning. Booked a double room and was given a two bedroom apartment with lounge, kitchenette and patio overlooking an excellent pool. Communication from the owner in advance of arrival was excellent. Service on arrival was first class. Be aware there is no catering or bar onsite, but there is a Taverna about 10 minutes walk……

“We had an incredible stay at this hotel. They were so helpful in accommodating needs of our baby and us as new parents. Having a sitting room and two bathrooms was very helpful and the two terraces were wonderful. the accommodation was beautiful and clean and we left very relaxed. “My stay at the Malmo was perfect! From them organizing a taxi pick up at the airport to the ease of check-in, breakfast buffet, and the room itself, I couldn’t recommend more! The pictures of the room online looked exactly as it did in person. There were so many dining options near the hotel and a quick walk to the harbor, one of the local beaches, and many different activities. Whenever I come back to Chanai, I will be staying here! ”

“This small hotel is in an absolutely perfect location, right at the heart of the historical centre of Chania. There were absolutely no problems with the self-service check-in, and the room was absolutely lovely, with some quaint features and a welcome drink and sweets. Finding a parking space close enough to the hotel can be a problem, but the manager had made some good suggestions about parking options, so ultimately that did not prove to be a massive deal. “This was a gem of a room right in the heart of old town Chania. There was all that you could need in the room like a coffee maker, glasses and great wifi speeds. Bed is very comfortable. The only thing to consider is that the room is not soundproofed so you do hear a little action on the streets below but it was nothing too hard to handle, and the blackout drapes do not fully block the lights from outside out. We are light sleepers but either didn't affect us negatively but should be noted……
