“We only had one night but wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was lovely overlooking the beautiful garden. We enjoyed the complimentary drinks in our room. We all said that the breakfast was amazing! One of the best we’ve ever had! We would definitely recommend staying at No29 and would love to visit again. ”

“This was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed. A beautiful, well equipped room with a great view of the marshes. We stayed on a Sunday and booked a hamper for tea. It was so delicious! I highly recommend Cley Windmill as a great place to stay in a lovely place\ ”

“Nice warm welcome, room was better than we expected at the price, Hot drinks available in room , parking next to room, tv with sky, but only watched the bbc news, Breakfast was excellent nicely cooked, nothing was too much trouble as I went slightly off menu, good price. bar in the evening had a nice friendly crowd in, overall a very good place to stop”

“Good stay in a nice quiet bungalow suitable for the family. Communications after booking were good. It would be better if Hotels.com highlighted the hidden fees, if they knew of them. Early check-in/late checkout charges are common place. But fees for towels, bedding and the use of the hot tub in the garden less so. If you want the basics then use this place as it is good value and you don’t mind taking your own stuff with you. If you want the ‘extras’ it’d likely be cheaper to book elsewhere. ”

“It was all excellent particularly the breakfasts and I liked having a fridge. One star lost for Eco -friendly because no container for recycling, tiny plastic containers for shampoo and my hand towel was unnecessarily replaced (although i appreciate the good intentions). I had a lovely room with antique-type decorations. ”
