“We stayed one night in the room #222 (King suite) in this beautiful Lodge and we liked a lot spacious and nice lobby area, beautiful backyard with a small waterfall hidden among trees, surrounding territory, and our spacious King suite with comfortable furniture. We noticed small problem in the bathroom: in one place on the ceiling above the tub paint was peeling away revealing black spot (I'm afraid it was black mold). “We really enjoyed staying at The Monte Vista during the Sourwood Festival. It was great to walk to town to eat and attend the festival. The hotel is old but very charming. It has a lot of stairs and no TV in some rooms, so be sure to book a room accordingly.”
