“My son and I stayed here for a weekend to explore the fall leaf color. As a former VRBO host and a seasoned traveler, I can confidently say that this was my best stay ever. The studio is about one hour away from Grandfather Mountain and Ashville. We flew into Charlotte, which is also about an hour away. The drive to the property is pretty. The studio is a nicely converted basement and the hosts live onsite. There is a private driveway and entrance to the unit, so guests can have total……

“My husband and I spent six nights here. We were in the area for a family wedding at Chickadee Farm, an easy 30 minute commute. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and the waterfront views can’t be beat. Our hosts were easy to work with. The linens are nice and the king bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and even had a spice rack for our use, which is unusual but appreciated. Easy access to groceries, restaurant, gas etc. There are several steps from the parking area down……

“As we were approaching the apt, I was apprehensive about the neighborhood. Those thoughts were put to rest very quickly. The apartment was one of three that were connected. It was a very quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. It was very easy to get to and close to everything that we wanted to do. The inside was very clean and organized. The kitchen was furnished with everything that we needed. We only used one bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. There were tv’s in both……

“Booked online, Booking provides good info, lacking specific address AND failed to identify in description key code info. Following difficult to find 1 hour, contacted rental party for key code, no response. waited 0ne hour at 11pm, no response, next day, owner send e mail, will not send code via e mail, then, bookings send email from renter day late of key code. POOR customer service, I wonder if this was a scam property as OWNER should provide key code IMMEDIATLY upon confirm booking. DO NOT……

“I definitely will be booking again if I’m in this area. Everything was clean and comforting. The host responded to me quickly any time I had a question. A lot of living essentials are provided which was an added bonus. There are lots of updated amenities which gives it a modern feel. There are a set of stairs to apartment A, this may not be feasible for a person who has difficulty with stairs. My family and I really enjoyed ourselves!”
