We loved the variety of small craft to choose from, and were delighted to watch our dog learn to swim. We grandparents are in our early 70s, and had no problem navigating the short path to the lake, or to walk into the water at the shallow sandy shore. “Loon Retreat is a well-kept home with 4+ bedroom areas and lots of space. The kitchen has plenty of pots & pans, utencils, modern appliances and a large table able to seat our group of 10; lots of books, artwork, games, binoculars, etc. We were very happy with the large back deck, 4 kayaks & canoe and easily accessed dock and swimming area. The check-in and check-out process was simple and straightforward.We hiked Blue Job Mountain and checked out a few local spots to eat nearby.
