“It’s good”

“This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous.”

“Clean rooms ”

“We had booked here for a one night stay in July 2025 but when we arrived we loved it and decided if we could we would love to stay for another night. Chris was very accommodating and got us an another night here. This was nothing but fantastic! Excellent location, staff were phenomenal and the property was nothing but beautiful indeed and well kept. I would highly recommend this hotel and Chris and his staff were very friendly and we were treated with the utmost respect. BTW we had breakfast……

“Charming decor, delicious food, and friendly innkeeper!”

“This is a new property. The rooms are sized generously. Parking is either below the building or across the street. The location is great with restaurants and coffee shops across the street. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again. ”

“Best described as charming and quiet. Very clean and well appointed. Half block walk to shops and restaurants. Staff is excellent. Walker was very helpful and recommended several fun things to do. Excellent breakfast. ”

“First time bed and breakfast stay and it was amazing! Christi and Matt were so welcoming and had some recommendations to give us which was very helpful. The view is absolutely beautiful! Our room was perfect - had a comfy king bed with an updated bathroom, including an amazing shower. Multiple options for breakfast that Chrisi whips up and it was delish! Will definitely be back!!”

“The Anchorage motel was great for us. It’s a very basic accommodation- but, very walkable with a lot of good restaurants around. The staff were friendly and it was clean.”
