“This classic hotel, in near-constant service since the 19th Century, is a pleasant place to rest after a busy day. It is near the riverfront walk, and the town of Rising Sun is a calm place to spend some time. Just outside of town is a wolf refuge that is well worth the time to visit, and the drive along the river from and to the Interstate is beautiful. “ We loved the quiet and seclusion of this little place. It was well worth the 50 minute drive to the Creation Museum and the 90 minute drive to the Ark Encounter. We came back to peace after being around crowds all day. The kitchen was well furnished with all we needed for enjoying our homemade meals. We especially enjoyed the plush white towels and bedding! We would definitely stay here again!”
