“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was really nice - as was the pool but too cold to really swim in. The Wi-Fi wasn’t great. Tried to stream movies on Netflix and kept buffering throughout. There was not a Kleenex, piece of paper or writing utensil to be found anywhere. The home was clean except for the refrigerator. The inside had not been wiped down and had crumbs etc.,and the outside had tons of fingerprints and dried on food on the door handles.”

“The place was quiet and relaxing, away from traffic, which is what I needed, yet close to town. It was very clean, and the check-in process was easy. I had no issues with the codes for the gate or the casita. I would definitely recommend!”

“The cabin was awesome, the property is beautiful. Mike was super cool, let us use the golf cart, brought the kayaks to the water for us, and let us use his firewood. We cooked, kayaked, ran around with the dog, looked for arrowheads, stargazed, watched deer from the porch. It was perfect. ”

“This is a very comfortable cabin with a short walk to the historic district and many shops, coffee shops, and restaurants. The cabin is clean and well stocked with lots of snacks. If you're driving a dully it is best to back into the cabin parking. The gate coming into the driveway is very narrow, and more difficult to back out of them into.”

“We had a quick trip to Spicewood for an overnight stay and this place was perfect! We loved the cozy space, all the amenities and the peace and quiet. ”

“I throughly enjoyed the cabin. It had all the modern amenities but truly had old western log cabin decor and flair. It was private and very quiet. Tricia the host was very personable and communicated well. I highly recommend nearby Salt Lick BBQ! The nearby town of Wimberly had fun shops and eats. Gruene was an hour away, but was my favorite with charming historic shops and restaurants and very walkable. Order the schnitzel at Gruene River Grill overlooking the river! Larger Fredricksburg is 45……
