“We loved how central and quiet this house was. It had everything we needed for our short spring break trip. Kids loved the bunk beds and the hot tub. The host was super responsive with any questions we had about the cabin or the area. Great stay! ”

“We stayed for two nights on our trip back from Savannah to break up the drive and check out new river gorge park. House worked well for our group of six. Owners did a beautiful job of updating the amenities while maintaining the old house charm. This property is not for everyone but we really enjoyed checking out some of the old books, framed letters, and other items. The house is stocked with a mix of vintage items, reproductions, and modern functional pieces with vintage styling. Owners……

A couple suggestions would be…-yard was not mowed and grass was quite high-futon couch was very uncomfortable to sit for any length of time-gate at hot tub was twisted and did not on its own which made it hard for my wife to open and close-Neighbor at corner left for work at like 5am and truck was very loud and rumbled the house during weekdays”

“My family and I travel to the mountains every year for spring break. And I can honestly say this location had the best view of any we have seen! The house is huge. It’s a combination of old country home (used to belong to a coal barron) with a splash of modern. Hot tub fits 5 comfortably and also comes with a view. Would recommend for anyone looking to stay close to hiking trails and Mountain views. ”
