It was so nice and fully equipped that our family preferred to eat on the outdoor patio rather than go to the restaurants. The pictures don't do the house or garden justice. “We loved the private beach. This was our daughter's favorite part of the trip. There are other people who have access to the beach as well as you are in a neighborhood of Arue but compared to the public beaches you have a piece of paradise all to yourself. We also enjoyed all the animal life (giant snails, crabs, birds and one day we even saw a sea otter swimming near us). “What an amazing place to stay in Tahiti! It’s away from all the tourist and beautiful. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and were available to help anytime day or night. They offered lots of information and directions about local attractions and would even call places for us since we didn’t speak French. The bungalows were beautiful overlooking the ocean. Someone wrote that it’s very steep getting up to the house, but it’s no steeper than the hills in downtown Seattle. Have to climb a……

“Calm and peaceful stay at the cottage nestled in Mahina valley. Nice pool to swim and play in. Located along a calm stream. Loved listening to the rain at night, and the stream during the day. Serge was a gracious and accommodating host, who we enjoyed meeting. Would love to come back again!”
